How to get over the past? Seems like whenever I hit a wall or get into a rut my mind just starts thinking of a time in my life when I thought everything was perfect. I make it worse by dwelling on music, shows, and youtube videos from that time period.

It's easy to look at the past with rose tinted glasses and assume everything was perfect. It's fine to reminisce but i personally dont think its healthy to dwell. Life (unfortunately) is always going to keep moving forward. All you can really do is try to keep up with it and make the present "perfect".
