Dealing with Hand Tremors: Seeking Advice

does anyone else have hand tremors? i’m trying to figure out if my tremors are from POTs or maybe medication. on good days they’re barely noticeable, but on bad days i can’t hold small things like earrings because i’ll shake and drop them.

Mine started after a hernia surgery and I’ve since been diagnosed with pots and MCAS

I do! Mine are from medications. 1 of my RA meds and 1 of my daily asthma medications cause hand tremors. They were NOT listed as common side effects for either but they started/increased after I started the meds.

My tremors are almost always POTS related and they are a reliable sign that I need to have more salt

my tremors are bad as well. I have full body tremors, but my hands in particular are pretty noticeable. I think it’s just a pots thing, it doesn’t seem to be a side effect of any of my meds.

I get this! I’m in general a very shaky and unstable person though so I’m sure about underlying cause

I get them with my POTS, but drinking Alka seltzer on bad days makes them significantly less for me.

Yes!! my cardiologist seemed to think that it wasn't POTS related but I've seen several case studies about it so I'm not sure what is causing it :(

Yes absolutely! Idk if mine are POTS related but I make earrings and on bad days it is so hard to wrap the wire around the stone because my hands are so shaky.

yes! i have tremors that are most noticeable in my hands. i see a neurologist who specializes in POTS for my treatment, and he informed me that the tremors are a very common symptom of POTS.
