I'm in this type of situation myself, it definitely is really hard to move on, but I'll give you some advice on what's helping me do that currently. First, you should meet new people and tried to make meaningful connections to get your mind off him. Second, when he messages you, try to show less interest or leave him on read as well. Those won't make him feel less significant in your life, and that will usually make the other person few more mind full of you and your feelings after they know how you felt. Of course, you can't change his interest or disinterest in you, but at the very least, you can do what's best for you and try to move on.

yeah… i’m sorry, but doesn’t sound like he is interested in you. and for how to deal with it… different methods work for different people. you can try and find a new crush, or even just simply stop texting him.
