I fucked around and found out. My gay bestfriend (with benefits) just asked me to be his boyfriend. It wouldn’t be as big as an issue if I hadn’t told him over and over I’m not ready for relationships like that with guys. I don’t know how to address this. I know if I tell him he’ll say it’s okay but be really hurt inside and I hurt him so many times in middle and high school and finally made everything right after high school and I don’t want to do it again.

It's an unfortunate situation but if he's violating your boundaries by asking despite you saying you're not ready, you have to put yourself first and disregard whatever pain he might be in since he opened himself up to the chance KNOWING rejection was an option.
