I have GAD and it just feels like everything is so hard. Ive had it for many years and the simplest of tasks seem so difficult and overwhelming. Like cleaning or cooking. My body always feels weak and I never feel well. Does anyone else experience this? It's just so exhausting.
Yes, definitely. I often have to pride myself in small accomplishments, even if others might not think that they're much. I have lived with GAD most of my life and I still get overwhelmed with things like cleaning. Now, I focus on just being consistent...small positive actions everyday. Of course, if I have a day when I need to slow down and take care of myself, then that's important too. My life might look different than others, but that's okay.
