This is frustrating when for years you work with many different doctors and they can not find the cause for your migraines or chronic pain flair up. Anyone else have this issuse? I really feel to give up sometimes in finding out why. Also anyone have psychiatrist not want to listen or help you and think it is all in your head? I was with one psychiatrist for 3 years and he was awesome, but sadly he passed away. I can not find anyone else to listen to me.

I had this issue for years until recently. I moved and got a new doctor who ran every test she could to rule everything out. I just got diagnosed with fibromyalgia after 6 years of suffering.

YES they just give me pain meds instead of finding the source of the problem. and those pain meds make me feel even worse than i felt with the migraine. it is bs

@sydney_h Yes this has happened to me at one doctors office. They give me the lowest they can prescribed then told me come back in 2 months to tell them how the meds worked. I tried that to he hopeful. Meds hardly worked. Side effects migraines. Like really I'm trying to get rid of those.

I have this issue with doctors for a different problem. Honestly, it would be fine if I felt like they were trying or cared, but it doesn’t feel that way at all. I had one doctor disregard the symptoms I was listening and interrupt me when I was trying to explain why I felt something was wrong. It’s important to understand that everyone is human and makes mistakes/might not know everything but I feel like this shouldn’t apply to the doctors that aren’t trying/don’t show that they care. If the psychiatrist thinks it’s all in your head, I really suggest finding someone different

@lilly109876 I understand doctors can make mistakes. I keep going to different ones. Right now I am in limbo trying to find a good psychiatrist.

I had a psychiatrist before my current one that was like that. I go through the VA Hospital and I called them up and said I need a new one bc the current one has no personality, is over medicating me and thinks im full of it. For crying out loud I have PTSD and Bipolar how am I faking it, well she got fired and I now got an amazing psychiatrist.
