Friend Attempted Suicide, Need Advice

I've been in a similar situation. Back when I was 18 and she was 17. She had already made 4 or 5 attempts. Back when emo was still a big thing and everyone always said we did things for attention.. I would agree to try and distance yourself for your mental health but to also make sure they're getting the help they need even if it's asking your parents to follow up with theirs. When I had to have my dad call her dad during an attempt I had an anxiety attack and was shaken up as well. It's ok to be concerned about someone else but also take time for your mental health as well.

U sadly can't control their actions. They aren't ur burden to carry. I say this from personal experience,u carrying their problems will only pull u down with them and could lead to losing urself. I recommend taking a break from them and just take a breather and possibly seek some help.
