I feel incredibly unsafe at work. I've been at my job for about a year and I've worked with a friend who I've been friends with for 6 years, all through highschool and then some, and who truly understands my disabilities and knows what to do and how to help. I'm a server, one of my two jobs, and I get overstimulated and have had episodes of meltdowns and crying at work, but no other coworker or boss takes me or my conditions seriously. My friend was recently fired, and now my workplace feels incredibly unsafe. I had a seizure in the middle of my shift not lobg ago and he was the only one who stood by and helped, making sure I was okay as I have a risk of SUDEP. When he told one of my bosses she blew him off and then accused him of lieing. And when told again by multiple other coworkers she shrugged them off as well. Knowing that I have to come to this place of work, and knowing there's a very reall possibility of me needing medical attention, and no one taking me or my conditions seriously, and knowing full well I could die or have serious injeries and no one wanting to help even if they are around to is terrifying... I've been crying for days, and trying not to cry as I write this in my brrakroom before my shift...
