Lost My Value After First Seizure at Work

I had my first seizure at work may 19th. I work in a psychiatric unit... I feel like I've lost my value. I'm not reliable anymore, I'm a risk, I can't drive myself to work anymore... The only thing I've got is I'm willing to work myself into a seizure after I was told to call in sick the morning of.

Don't beat yourself up. It's not your fault. And being human is important in psychology!

Definitely understand how you feel. I feel like because of my seizures I can’t do anything. I was dreaming of a drivers license, my first party, and everything when I was a kid. Now I can’t do any of that. It’s like every waking moment all you look forward to is how you will recover from a seizure and will you even make it through afterwards?

I understand how you feel. I was working towards my drivers license when I first started having seizures. It can definitely make you feel worthless, my depression got really bad after
