Hey, question about my coping with anxiety and medication! I currently am taking celexa which some of the time works great however at times my anxiety is triggered severely to where it exceeds my medication and makes me feel sick and sparks a depressive episode. Often this anxiety can be caused by little things or personal highly stressful experiences that make me especially anxious constantly. Does anyone know of any ways to cope with this when it happens? I've tried a few ways of coping and calming down but it doesn't help much most of the time. Should I change medication as I'm at the highest dose of celexa? Is there medication that can help with a severe case? Hope this makes sense!

Do you take celexa regularly or as needed? I'm on hydroxyzine regularly for anxiety and I recently got prescribed Buspirone to take as needed. If your regular medication generally works then you could ask your doctor about something like that
