Anyone else with chronic pain fall asleep when it's to intense?

Well sometimes to cope I will go to sleep to escape the pain, but usually I get “painsomnia” where I’m in so much pain I can’t sleep

I definitely can’t fall asleep when my pains are too intense. When i finally fall asleep i don’t know if it’s because of the painkillers effect or that i just too exhausted
