Struggling with Insomnia and Chronic Pain

I cannot seem to get more than 2-4 hours of sleep a night. I just can’t get comfortable enough with my pain. I’m so exhausted, but that doesn’t make any difference. I can’t even nap anymore. I’ve always struggled with sleep, and have tried almost everything with no luck. It seems so much worse now. I’m just so tired.

You could try asking your doctor about a medication for sleep

I tried a few sleep medications such as ambien and clonidine. Unfortunately everything ended with bad experiences such as sleep walking into my apartment building hallway in underwear and similar instances. My boyfriend even hid my car keys when I took it.

I use cannabis for my pain, but it’s never made it easy to sleep. I’m pretty nervous about trying stronger pain medications because I’m afraid of becoming addicted.

😥 Do you get something to treat your pain? Did you tell your doctor? Maybe you need something stronger
