I have been experiencing excruciating lower back pains on both sides with radiating pain down my thighs to my kneecaps. Anyone had a similar feeling? I don't know if it is stress-induced pain because I have not made any new movements.

@ThickAndTired I now use a massage gun on my right muscles that haven’t yet to fully calm, do yoga, and also do exercises recommended by my physical therapist

Tylenol doesn't seem to do much

@Ro0402 also maybe do try lidocaine like they said above or even vicks

@Ro0402 tylenol didn’t work much for me either. needed something stronger from prescription. you may need a muscle relaxant. if you have insurance, you can go to an urgent care and tell them your issues so they can get a better idea of what you need

@Ro0402 you may have better luck with an NSAID like Advil or Aleve as they are an anti-inflammatory. There are a lot of topical creams OTC you could get at your local pharmacy such as homeopathic arnica, lidocaine, or Voltaren. Ice or heat. If you have a bath tub soaking in some epson salts may ease the pain a bit. Gently rub and stretch the area.

It's been going on for a week now. Is there anything I can take to help with the pain in the meantime?

yes, I had a muscle spasm that caused sciatica similar to that. It was definitely exasperated by stress and anxiety and only until I started calming down and exercising/stretching did it start to heal

Radiating pain from lower back to thighs and knees could be sciatica
