I asked my gynecologist oncologist today about the possibility of taking estrogen to help me with moods and fat loss, but unfortunately, she thinks the risk is too high, and advised against it. I had a total hysterectomy a few years ago due to an estrogen-fed cancer. I kind of expected her answer, but I'm still really disappointed, and it's hard not to be discouraged. I want to lose fat, but with no estrogen, I'm majorly handicapped. Anyone else dealing with this?
