I feel like a burden because of how emotional I am, I find myself getting upset at people and situations very often and I can’t tell whether or not I’m overreacting. Does anyone else struggle with this?
You're definitely not alone. Wish I had more advice but sometimes the best thing you can do is tell people, 'hey - I have a tendency to get very emotional. If I ask for space, please give me space, and once I'm in a better place emotionally we can discuss this again.' it helps to remove yourself from the situation and come back, and all of my partners have been understanding of this. It's lead to a lot less splitting and yelling.
well, at that point you need to consider whether they're worth keeping in your life. Because at that point, you're not the problem. They are. That's a lack of respect and an apathy toward having a healthy relationship/fixing your unhealthy one.
Yes, dealing with it right now. Mad becouse I'm not getting attention from people I care about, and feeling guilty for being needy and getting upset even though logically I understand emotionally I do not.
