Other than meds, are there other treatments that might help me?

Water, exercise, following any instructions your endocrinologist may give you. I got diagnosed early 2019 with a a1c at 10.3, I’m currently at 8.0 (been in the 6 range but things got out of control) but I’m trying my best to be in shape and eat better. I give thanks to my doctor and ozempic.

Found out Fall of 18 that I was diabetic with a 9.4. I changed everything. They wanted me kn meds, and I said no. Threw out all my bad food. Started with low carb tortillas and making sandwiches. Then I added chicken either in the instapot, air fryer, etc. I watched my sugar and it kept coming down. In 2 months, I was 5.6. Now I've added in more healthy foods, and I remain within a healthy range. As a happy side effect, this caused me to lose some weight. I also started taking Ceylon cinnamon. It's really good for you, but make sure it is Ceylon and ask your doc to make sure it doesn't interfere with anything. It shouldn't, but I'm not a doc. Wishing you so much luck. Feel free to message me. I'd be happy to help you along your journey. ❤️
