What are the best ways to bring up my worries to my parents? specifically how do I ask them to help me?

Bring some tangible ways they can help you, because you probably have different ideas of what is helpful. Most likely they will want to oblige and help you.

When I have a hard time talking with my parents about something personal, I usually text my mom. It's a lot easier to start an uncomfortable conversation when it's on your screen. Then you can slowly ease into talking to them face to face. It's not for everyone, and it's a bit of a quick fix, but I have definitely used that method to form a stronger relationship with my parents. I just had to reach out at my own pace. :)

One thing I do if I am uncomfortable with something going on, I mostly tell my mom. Sometimes I tell my dad, but not often. If I'm really worried about something or don't feel good about something mentally, I usually text my mom. That way it goes straight to her and not my dad. If it comes to the fact that both my parents are in the room, I just text my mom even though she's in the room with me that way I don't have to talk about it. Maybe that would be a good recommendation.

I have a bit of experience on this. I live woth my parents and they don't really understand things like this. I recommend writing about it to tell them. :)
