why is advocating for your disability so difficult? I've been diagnosed with severe hypermobility and am awaiting a referral to a geneticist as my doctors are sure I have EDS. Yet the accommodation team at my university are refusing to give me what I know for certain they are giving to my friend with similar disability needs. they are trying to tell me it is not something that is ever available to student when I've proved that I know they are lying. my health and my safety are being put at risk and they don't seem to care! I don't know what to do...
