Has anyone been inpatient care? 10 years afterward I still feel like it was very traumatic. How do deal?

      Been admitted four or five times. Very traumatic. Each place was different. Some crazy as hell and some not so bad. I never want to go back. Loonieville and some of the workers actually purposeful instilled more fear in me while laughing at me. It was horrific. Time away from that place has lessened its effect.

      yess it was so traumatic and I think about how scared I am of going back all the time. I don't know what to do about it either... I just live in fear that a mental health professional is going to call the cops on me again so I am too afraid to tell them how suicidal I am actually feeling. I know I should tell them the truth but I can't risk going back there.

        @FinnWren I have never once been honest about being suicidal because I simply can’t afford to have that kind of hovering in my life again so I get it.

          @Jay_Jay yeah it feels like the only way to get out of it. I really wish I could be truthful but it's just not gonna happen. do you have ptsd from the hospital? I feel like I do because I keep getting flash backs and it feels similar to my other ptsd symptoms.
