My son got violent st 17 yrs old was in hospital from October 4th to December 3rd i got him brought hin home then he has a violent episode i has to call 911 hes been in the has since December 18th and is enroute to a group home. June 8th hopefully. I get how stressful it is how old are they and if your in the states get with DDA (developmental disabilities Administration) i avoided them for years but its worth it for when they turn 18 to have the services already. I tried getting them when he was 17 it was like slower šŸŒ than molasses going uphill in a blizzard

I have a nephew with physical disabilities that require changing bags, stomas and infections. He's in his 30s but mental capacity of a 5th grader. I emphasize with you. I wish I had a recommendation for you but I don't have first hand full time experience. I only hope you have the support you need ready.
