I experienced my first manic episode two days ago. I don’t have a history of them and we think it was triggered by a medication reaction and extreme emotional factors. I’m looking for advice because I don’t know if there are ways to get through a manic episode faster? Because this is new for me Im not prescribed any medications that might prevent or control things like this. I’m very concerned because even though this happened days ago I’m still not feeling at all like myself.

One of the suggestions provided in the context is to be as productive as possible until you fall back into a slump. Exercise can also help work out some of that manic energy. However, it's important to consult with a psychiatrist or medical professional about your symptoms, especially if they persist. They may suggest medication adjustments or other treatments.
