Dealing with the Loss of a Loved One

I lost my younger sister a little over 3 years ago, she was in ICU for about a month, the last time I saw here was about two and a half weeks before she passed. I was at the time on worker's comp with a sprained ankle so I couldn't drive and I didn't want to burden my parents with driving the extra time to pick me up and drop me off. The last time I saw her I kissed her forehead and told her to be strong as I was going to try to see if I could be a kidney donor for her, but unfortunately she was already way too sick and her body was just shutting down. When the doctors told her that she also needed a full liver transplant, meaning couldn't be a live donor, she said that's it I want to go home. They set up hospice care and she passed her second day back home. I was trying to plan visiting her once she got settled with all the nurses but never got the chance. She was ready to go.
