Dealing with the Aftermath of Grooming Trauma

When this happens for me, I have to remind myself that they are not the person who did those things to me. Even if there's something familiar, they are not that person. Hope that helps! And just remember, it gets better. One day, you won't even think about it anymore

Maybe try to pinpoint the specific points that you see in other people that remind you of them, and try to figure out why that is bugging you past them. (Your post was semi vague so msg me if you wanna share more)

I still have trouble with this today.. though I'm 22, I still feel young and get extreme anxiety anytime someone a decent amount older than me expresses interest or says a creepy comment.. I still feel like a kid as far as... sexual stuff goes, despite being with a lot of people around my age. It always freaks me out when someone just 8 or more years older finds me attractive. (Gives me pedo vibes even tho I know im not a child anymore...) Even being with people around my age I still have a lot of anxiety around sexual acts
