Hi, I'm Jett. I turned 18 last July, idk, introduction stuff. I guess I really just want to know if anyone has a suggestion/suggestions for dealing with forgiveness. How do I forgive someone, does it actually help me?

I’m terms of helping. Forgiveness will lighten your soul. It is really healthy for you. The important thing is to remember that forgiveness does not mean you have to continue to be around that person. You can forgive and move on and set boundaries. I’ve been working on forgiveness myself so I can relate to your concerns.

Something's are easy to forgive, some aren't, it'll help with however your feeling right now, you'll probably want to still keep them in mind but their not worth it anymore, your wellbeing is more important as of now and till your 80 or 90, Forgive them now and forget them forever. Enjoy your life with people who care or do the Journey alone, it's up to you.

I struggle with forgiveness too and honestly I don’t know if you can always forgive people. My best advice though is to follow the “forgive, but never forget” rule. It lets you move on while protecting your future self from getting hurt again.

I have been trying to forgive my mom for some stuff for a long time, no matter how much I try I just can’t seem to let go. But there are other people I have been able to forgive, and it has helped a lot. I’m not sure exactly how forgiveness happens, but I know you can’t force it. I guess just try not to beat yourself up if you want to forgive someone, but can’t figure out how.
