I lost two of my friends about a month ago. One died from a disease and the other took her own life a week after. I having been copping a little through my family and friends I still feel really depressed and kinda feel like it was my fault that one suicided. Does anyone have any tips for coping with grief and how I feel I caused her to suicide?

Just remember, that once someone makes up their mind like that it's almost impossible to prevent it, you can't blame yourself because even if you had done more the same outcome might have happened. Depression takes all the good and basically says it's not real, so even the best of friends can't save someone from it

Maybe its too soon, since its only been a month. BUT. Something I've seen help is reaching out to other people who love your friends as much as you do (e.g. their family and mutual friends). You're not the only person carrying this weight, but you are not to blame. There are other people who loved them who feel guilty like you do, but it is no one's fault. Find those people and come together to remember the good and lift the weight of grief. I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what you're going through losing two people so close together.

Thank you Celeste that felt like a whole session in one comment. I will defentaly remind myself if this when I'm feeling guilty.

A grief class may be helpful
