New Anxiety Medication: Hydroxyine

I take 25mg of this I only take it at night tho because it makes u sleepy but it usually helps My anxiety the whole next day

Thank yall so much for the comments ..I get werid with taking new medications..I heard it will make me sleepy so when I do take it I should stay home and not go anywhere lol

I do take it for night time and it does work. As for bad days, it’s not too effective but it does really help with sleep issues

I have this prescribed as well. My PCP originally passed it as an alternative to Xanax for my panic attacks/anxiety. The pros are that it last for 8hrs, I believe, and I don't feel too out of it while taking. It's a more gradual effect... I like to use this on days where I can tell I'm overstimulated and overwhelmed to irritation. It helps me keep from letting my anxiety or panic cause me to snap or lash out.

I have this and it helps me personally, but it does make me drowsy and sometimes ill use it if I can't sleep - otherwise I'll use it when I feel a panic attack coming or after. It calms me enough to get through, but it's not going to do anything too strong like completely numb you, but I'm only at 25mg
