I have severe panic attacks the second it even starts to drizzle and I'm the one driving. I don't hate rain, it's beautiful and peaceful, or lighting either. but the second it rains snows or even thunderstorms I have an absolute meltdown. it's getting worse and worse every single time. I try to give my self exposure therapy or have someone I trust in the car with me but it's only getting worse not better.

Hey! I know it’s so hard, but have patience with yourself! Exposure therapy is hard and it will probably get worse before it gets better. It’s okay to take baby steps, have meltdowns and be scared! Your fear is valid, it can be scary driving in uncertain weather. Just remember you are the one in control in this situation, you can always pull over, call someone for comfort, and take your time! I promise this fear will pass and you are going to be so proud of yourself when you accomplish your goals. I hope it gets easier for you soon!
