This is called fortune telling. We've had a panic attack in a particular place, so we assume it will happen again. It doesn't have to. I like to keep a cold bottler of water with me when I drive. I also like to keep scented oil nasal inhalers that are calming. You need to tell yourself that the attack doesn't have to happen. I know it sounds easy, and I know it isn't but a lot of practice will make it so. ❤️

Good Morning. I absolutely get it. The same things happen to me at times. I think 90% of my attacks happen while driving.... and I'm usually alone. It's terrifying. Sometimes I end up crying behind the wheel... It leaves me completely exhausted by the time I get to my destination. I try to say positive things to myself when it's happening.... things like; YOU will make it. You are okay. You are safe. You can do it.
