Has anyone tried a body braid for support?

I've heard good things and want to try it myself. It seems to give a little more resistance to certain movements which results in a little more stability. Similar to braces, but not as restrictive/supportive. Like an ace bandage on a sprained ankle vs an AFO

I've heard a lot of recommendations about it from people who feel it makes them more aware of their body, but I have not tried it yet. It looks massive and uncomfortable. Tell us if you decide to give it a try and tell us what it is like.
