Once a week I just drink water/tea, and soups. So it's easier for my stomach to digest and take a break to heal. Sometimes to make that day more exciting I buy my favorite smoothie and get my nails done. If I'm having a flare I try to eat mostly soft foods during that time.

Diet control, keep a food diary and write down all foods that trigger. Rate them from 0 to 4, 0 being safe, 1. no gas, 2. no flames shooting from your bowls and 4. direct highway to hell, avoid at all costs! Also weather ghe food is eaten ice cold vs warm (room temp) vs hot. Have no clue why but I found that food temp can make?a differance in how my belly reacted After you figure out what foods or spices trigger it all, you move up to how to make it safer to eat. My best friends for 5 years were the magic bullit blender and either rice or mashed potatoes. I.e. pizza made safe by mixing with some mashed potatoes, either from powdered or real mashed
