Does anyone have any advice on how to stop mirroring/masking different personalities? I tend to mirror others that I meet, that I'm friends with, and even fictional characters in books or movies. I've been mirroring/masking for a very long time, and I just now found out that it may be related to my ADHD and Autism because I'm diagnosed with both. I basically mirror personalities, different styles, interests, etc and it happens basically 24/7 so its getting very hard and stressful to deal with. And I know it'll take some time to try and stop doing it, but it's really stressful for me and my counselors aren't really sure what to do either sadly. If there are any articles, books, YouTube videos, or any type of resource that could help me learn more about mirroring with Autism/ADHD and how to make it slowly stop, please let me know, and if you have any advice that may be helpful with trying to stop doing it so much, please comment that below. I truly appreciate any advice you guys may have! 💜
