Does Asthma Cause Temperature Spikes?

I'm curious if anyone else experiences temperature spikes with asthma attacks. Both of my kids also have asthma and my youngest gets a low fever with his attacks. For example he had two attacks last night and had a fever during the attacks but not after.

thanks! Turns out he happened to be going through a bout of croup as well and we found an ear infection the next day!

I’ve never taken temps to measure but I regularly would feel hot all throughout coughing episodes when I had them. I’d often reach for a fan, water or take my clothing off. I believe it’s due to all the activity of coughing while trying to catch my breath, I would cool quickly and get back to regular after 10minutes or so.
