Hi, my name is Heatherw and I'm new here.. I think I may have an allergy to my new dog, but every week my blood work shows a virus. Anybody know if there could be a connection? I can't get a clear answer from my dr. Thank you!

That makes sense, thank you so much!
You can't get a virus from having an allergy. An allergy is your body thinking there's an invader whenever it's just something harmless like pollen or dander, in your case maybe dog dander. It could just be that you coincidentally got sick around the time you got the dog and are blaming the sickness on him.
