Allergic Reaction to Prescribed Medication

I was prescribed clarithromycin by my ENT consultant doctor thinking I have an ear infection. She knows I'm allergic to erythromycin so I was skeptical but assumed she knew what she was doing, due to being a CONSULTANT top top doctor, and it's a different medication I'm not allergic to, right? So I took the first tablet last night at about 10:30pm, with a glass of water and after eating like I was directed! But at about midnight, my stomach started to hurt and despite having the windows open to -2° air I got really shakey and overheated. About an hour later, violently throwing up and struggling to breathe and unable to move without vomiting more! I passed out in the bathroom and luckily I seem to be a bit better now that it's out my system :/ So! I think I was given an antibiotic I was allergic to by a professional top top doctor! yay! hype up this healthcare system woooo! They literally just tried killing me off istg
