Advice for an 18 Year Old: What Would You Say?

be gentle on yourself, and it's okay to stumble, change course, or take longer to get where you want to be. i'm not much older than 18, but i'm learning that it was important that i should have been less punishing on myself especially as i tried to grasp adulthood. it's still important that i do this now, too.

If you are still on your parent's insurance, do as much medical stuff (including vision and dental if you have it) before you have to start paying for your own insurance.
