Struggling with Hearing Voices in My Head

It’s unclear to me when my system is trying to communicate because I think the random “whispers” I hear are from them, but I just can’t tell and I’ve hallucinated voices before though not this frequently or with blatant verbage. It’s stressful to be so unsure to be honest. I’ve been the host since late 2019 and have heard practically nothing compared to the quite frequent talk of the prior hosts and other altars (I have evidence of them all communicating). I’ve been suggested that it’s to protect me and I appreciate it, but it doesn’t change much on my feelings.
