Yes, I had hyperparathyroidism and had three Adhanom is removed. Although my calcium blood levels were normal after the surgery, I’ve had severe joint pain, muscle aches, exactly what parathyroid symptoms are before surgery. All my joints hurt and are stiff and painful especially in the morning. The only thing that really helps me feel normal is prednisone. But everybody says that’s not a good drug to be on for any length of time. Also it leaches calcium from the bones.
