Looking for successful treatments for hyperparathyroidism

Hi, i have hyperparathyroidism and i was diagnosed when i was about 10 or 11 but they told me its not something that needed to be treated and my parents agreed but it causes me a lot of discomfort and i was wondering if anybody had any treatments that were really successful and helped them if so what and where did you get it done
