Help! My Disease is Misunderstood

It’s so much different than what everyone’s initial idea is! I thought I was lazy, unmotivated, immature, overly sensitive, antisocial, weird and stupid before I got diagnosed. I haven’t been able to start medication yet so I still have pretty strong symptoms but I have learned how to manage a lot already just by this app and the YouTube channel How To ADHD! Just getting a diagnoses was so overwhelming and confusing so please know you are not alone. Adhd can be so much more debilitating than people think but it also makes me funny, creative, adventurous and empathetic.
