Is it worth trining to desensitize someone with misophonia? My doctor wants me to try it but I’m very skeptical as I’ve heard it only gets worse the more you hear the triggers.

I'm in the same boat. I have misophonia and my doctors won't really do much about it. You could always try it for a little bit and if it doesn't seem to help, then you could always stop the treatment
