Hello Lamictal/Lamotrigine GangšŸ‘‹šŸ», Has anyone had a psychiatrist suggest going down a small dose every few weeks for ā€˜energy releaseā€™ / fatigue? Over the last 8 months Iā€™ve gone from 300mg to 200mg and my energy has never been better but Iā€™m concerned that this strategy isnā€™t sustainable. Ta!

Bro lamotragine made me so drowsy I stopped taking it all together and now I just take Wellbutrin it doesnā€™t really treat bipolar but it helps with comorbidities

Are you doing this with the advise of your Psychiatrist? Just want to make sure before I give my 2Ā¢

@Bronzino i would say 200 mg still is pretty significant, if you feel good on that then no reason at all to change imho

@Bronzino oh okay. I was on Lamictal for 12 months and I quit it cuz i was getting rashesā€¦ Now Iā€™m on lithium orotate (10 mg, over the counter) for mood stabilizing. Iā€™ve felt some more energy from getting off the lamictal. But itā€™s done a really good job keeping me level.
