Hello Lamictal/Lamotrigine Gangšš», Has anyone had a psychiatrist suggest going down a small dose every few weeks for āenergy releaseā / fatigue? Over the last 8 months Iāve gone from 300mg to 200mg and my energy has never been better but Iām concerned that this strategy isnāt sustainable. Ta!

Bro lamotragine made me so drowsy I stopped taking it all together and now I just take Wellbutrin it doesnāt really treat bipolar but it helps with comorbidities
Are you doing this with the advise of your Psychiatrist? Just want to make sure before I give my 2Ā¢
@fumblingfruit yes, sry should I have clarified that. Iām trying to get feedback on his strategy (which atm is working),
@Bronzino i would say 200 mg still is pretty significant, if you feel good on that then no reason at all to change imho
@Bronzino oh okay. I was on Lamictal for 12 months and I quit it cuz i was getting rashesā¦ Now Iām on lithium orotate (10 mg, over the counter) for mood stabilizing. Iāve felt some more energy from getting off the lamictal. But itās done a really good job keeping me level.
