I’m new here. Sounds like an interesting approach to health care. I seem to be doing fairly well health wise. But I’m wondering if some of the drugs in my asthma/copd inhalers have caused my osteoporosis and tremor. The pharma drug inserts casually mention these possible side effects, when it appears they are more likely than not. Losing an inch or two in height and getting a spinal fracture within a period of years instead of decades has made me change the way I trust big pharma to be more transparent in their drug assessments. So as far as inhalers, I changed to a generic Spiriva inhaler to avoid the tremor from the beta2 agonists and a low dose Budesonide inhaler which doesn’t contribute to the osteoporosis. Next job is to find out if I’m missing any parathyroid hormones after the partial thyroidectomy, regarding calcium and bone growth. Calcium is within limits but it’s only a number. I take Calcium and D3 so why wouldn’t my blood calcium be normal. But that doesn’t mean the calcitonin is there to make use of it. But doctors love numbers that fit certain limits and if you disagree they can simply humor you or give you something for your nerves.
