Honestly. If you have interests- go to twitter and make an account that is about those interests- twitter has so many pockets of communities and it can be a great way to make friends. For me I love hockey and going on there and starting to follow teams and accounts devoted to hockey was how I began to make friends- online friends are real friends too :)
