So far (fingers crossed) jardiance has worked for me because I am insulin resistant and allergic to sulfate drugs (therefore I cant take metformin because it made me deathly sick).

metformin has been great for me! I had to switch to the long release version cause I'd get really sick even after the adjustment time my doctors told me would happen but I've even been losing weight on it!
