Best medication for type 2 diabetes?
What is the best medication for type 2 diabetes. I’ve been taking metformin for long time and there were no hope. I just want to get my blood in control, not roller coaster. Thanks.

I started taking Rybelsus 4 months ago and 6 months ago my A1C was 11.7 I got my labs back this morning and my A1C is at 5.6

I'm taking glimipride and the bydureon injection. They work good, but I am my own worst enemy...sigh. The meds work best when I exercise, but I have trouble working it into each day. A visit with with an endocrinologist really helped me.

I also take amaryl if my blood sugar is over 140 two hours after eating. I take Metformin twice a day and follow a plant-based low low carb diet.
