I was diagnosed at 34. It’s been recommended my kids have their first colonoscopy at 24.

My coworker was only 22 and he seems to be doing fine physically and mentally 4 years later. His dad did have colon cancer as did mine and my sibling. Just had two polyps removed and I have a colonoscopy every 3 years! That's fast growth! However having it so young - who's recommending colonoscopies for 20 and 30 years olds? I hope they become routine of there's a family history. So many people are being dx at younger and younger ages. It's all the processed refined fatty food we eat

@Ehhhh Yes you are right. Since my diagnosis and all that went with it my daughter got a colonoscopy at 36 years old. She had to really talk to the Insurance company. Finally they approved it.
