Lost and Alone: My Colon Cancer Diagnosis
just found out Friday I have colon cancer and have to have surgery.that is basically all the doctor said then left the room I am totally lost

I'm sorry to hear. Colon cancer is an unpleasant disease, but you can survive and live with it, I say from experience. The fact that the doctors didn't explain anything to you is wrong and maybe it's worth going to the doctor and consulting, maybe even your family doctor so he knows who to refer you to. Regardless, I would suggest not reading too much on the internet, only bad things are written there and in practice, it's not really like that.
