So there’s something weird that keeps happening to me where I have a dream and it’s like predicting the future. It really freaks me out I don’t get what is going on. Latest example being I haven’t had a dream with my ex in it for maybe a month (since he last came in town to see my kid). Last night I have this dream (which my dreams are always very graphic and real feeling) that he wouldn’t stop emailing me and my family pushing lawyers on us trying to get more time with my kid. (I say my kid because he’s an abusive piece of crap person). Anyway, today I just have this feeling because this keeps happening where I dream something and it comes true. I didn’t want to believe it so I avoided email for a while. Then randomly this afternoon I just get this feeling I need to check my email right away because I had this feeling a lawyer emailed me. Which makes no sense because aside from my dream I haven’t talked to my lawyer in over a month and was not given any reason to believe it would be them. The urge to check finally got so bad I did check and there was an email sent an hour before I saw it from his lawyer saying that a court date has been scheduled. We’ve never had a court date before and in my dream he kept pushing to go to court. This just happens to me too often where it makes no sense how I end up “predicting the future” with my dreams and it really freaks me out especially in times like these where he’s not even on my mind this week and like we haven’t had any contact or anything to hint at him doing this. It’s just really weird. Especially the timing where it’s always the night before I have a dream and then it happens either the same way or along those same lines the next day.

My aunt also experiences dreams that predict the future and I have a few times. It's a really odd feeling, but I learned to trust my instincts no matter how silly it sounds. I'm sorry you have to deal with your abusive ex and I hope for the best!
Idk how to explain it either but my mom does the same thing. The first time she had one of those dreams, she ignored it because she thought it was just a nightmare and then it came true. The dream was that her friend had died in an accident. She took them EXTREMELY seriously after that, and she found that if she talked about the dream before its events could unfold, then it wouldn't come true
