I have found that drinking lots of water and eating something spongy like bread helps to make the symptoms better. Hope this helps!

Most dairy food upset my stomach but the weird thing is yogurt is the only dairy food that doesn't upset my stomach but the rest of the dairy food are horrible on my stomach

@Sparklelover yogurt has a lot of enzymes and active cultures in it that may break down the lactose enough for you. Idk tho bc yogurt is one of the worst things for me šŸ˜‚

Lactase is the best thing... and maybe only thing. If you have dairy, and take a lactase pill (like Lactaid), it provides the enzymes your body lacks to break down the lactose. If I've missed the window to take a pill, I try to just drink a lot of water to help it get out of my system faster :/

@Snowy do those pills actually help u not feel bloated or get the bad symptoms

@Iamtony if you take them correctly, absolutely. You have to take them with the first bite of dairy. Any later and you're gambling if it will do anything. If I eat dairy - accidentally or intentionally - and realize I forgot to take a pill, if it's close enough (within 15-30 min), I'll still take something because I think it still helps a little. If it's been longer than that I don't even bother because it's just been too long for them to work.
