I'm grateful that I don't have really violent symptoms from my lactose intolerance. For me, I mostly just get abdominal pain and cramping and really bad brain fog. Depends on how much dairy I had tho. A little bit of cheese is very different than a whole bowl of cream soup. Normally if I have dairy without a lactase pill, I get just the mild symptoms so I just drink extra water and rest. I know that I won't be able to make sense of anything that requires more than 2 brain cells so I just give it time to work through my system.
